BEFORE GETTING STARTED TO SHARE WIFI

Before you start installing your La Fonera, we recommend you to read these instructions.

Our La Foneras are specially designed to be instantly updated with the latest FON Software once you plug them in, that way your router will perform with the highest standards of security and stability.

The process lasts from 30 minutes to an hour, and while updating, the La Fonera may not emit the FON signals. Moreover, if you stop the process, the interruption may damage its software.

That means that you need to follow these important steps to make sure it will be installed correctly:

  1. Plug the white network cable to the La Fonera and to your ISP router

  2. Plug the La Fonera to the electrical outlet with the AC adapter

  3. Take an hour break from your problems. Have a walk, grab your favorite drink, and most importantly give your La Fonera some quiet time, and

  4. Come back and register the La Fonera
