1. Connect

   • Connect the Ethernet cable to your ISPs router and the white port of the La Fonera
   • Connect the power supply

2. Wait for automatic firmware update

   

   Now the La Fonera is updating it’s firmware. Please, do not interrupt this process. It may take up to 45 minutes. This is finished when you have two stable WiFi signals (MyPlace and FON_) and you manage to connect to them.

3. Connect to the FON_FREE_WiFi signal

   

   Connect to the FON_FREE_WiFi signal and open a website like www.wikipedia.org. The FON Spot captive portal shows up

4. Register

   

   Log in with your FON user details (email and password).

   The registration form shows up. Fill in and save changes
